Template for review. This document is a starting point and should be reviewed by legal counsel and completed with your legal entity name and jurisdiction before launch.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how anotherschedulr ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our scheduling and payment-collection services (the "Service"). It applies to business owners who create accounts and to their clients who book appointments through their booking pages.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email address, password (stored hashed), and business details you provide.
  • Authentication data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
  • Booking information — appointment details, and client contact information (name, email, phone) and intake-form responses submitted through a business's booking page.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Square). We do not store full card numbers; we retain records of transactions (amounts, status, processor identifiers).
  • Usage and device data — log data, IP address, and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain the Service, process bookings and payments, send transactional emails (such as booking confirmations), secure our systems and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

  • With the relevant business — client booking and intake data is shared with the business whose booking page was used.
  • Service providers — payment processors, email delivery, hosting, and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf.
  • Legal — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption of sensitive tokens at rest and in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@anotherschedulr.com.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
